reacted to what’s going on now, which in many 
ways is the extension of the insights he had about 
television. In fact, his comments about television 
were almost before the reality. He saw television, 
but I don’t think what he saw was accurate; what 
he actually saw was what came beyond television, 
what’s happening now in many ways. He was 
ahead of himself in a very concrete way. He was 
looking beyond television to this new media 
environment in which we are living in now.
